Anita Purver
Specialist Urology Nurse
Anita Purver qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Basingstoke Hospital in 1983. She first became interested in Urology during her time as a student nurse where she worked with some exceptional Urologists and gained excellent experience.
Anita began working at the Hampshire Clinic in 1988 where she was Ward Sister for 14 years and Matron for 11 months. However she missed the patient contact and 5 years ago swapped job roles for a patient facing role where she became Specialist Urology Nurse. She works with all of Hampshire Clinic’s Urologists including Richard Hindley and Amr Emara.
Her role enables her to follow the patient journey from beginning to end and she is an integral part of the Urology care provided at Hampshire Clinic. Anita has a wealth of experience and knowledge particularly with cancer of the prostate, kidney and bladder. In addition she provides Urodynamic services and advice and education for patients with erectile dysfunction.
